South coast care was established in 2009 and is a family run business. The office is based in Worthing and owned by Karen Jacobs and David Cushion. Karen and Dave both live in Worthing and have a passion for giving back to the community and have done numerous charity events to raise money for local causes. Karen and Dave have over 35 years joint extensive experience in the care industry.
Over the years they have seen many changes in the care industry and are always developing the way they work to keep up with national standards. They strive to keep up to date with changes and comply with government guidelines to enable the company to keep their care staff and clients safe.
Since 2009 South Coast Care has continued to grow and now have over 50 carers providing care to the community in West Sussex and is dedicated to employing only the most compassionate, understanding and professional care staff. South Coast Care firmly believe that to provide a quality home care service it must be person centred and meets the individual’s needs.

All of our staff are fully trained and insured to work in the community at clients own homes. We also run CRB and ISA checks on each carerand ensure they have business insurance to enable them to take clients out in their cars.

South Coast Care are registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission. We are an approved provider for West Sussex Social Services, have a “Good” CQC rating & have been a member of UKHCA since 2014
